| You guys are the greatest! I know it is hard to accept me and to understand what I am trying to do. I just want you to know that I do understand how you feel. I would ask you just to trust God that He has sent me here and to seek Christ first in everything that you do. My one passion is for you to not only know Jesus but to truly have Him the Lord of your life in every area. Sometimes we don't understand everything that is taking place, but hang in there and be open to what God wants to do. Again, you all are awesome!! I love each and every one of you!! PJ | | |
| Isn't it true that each of us lives in a world of our own - the world of our mind? What a thickly populated world it can be! And what an unkind one! How often we're narrow, cold, haughty, unforgiving, and judgmental. How readily we push Christ off His judgment seat and take our place there to pronounce on others (though we've neither the knowledge nor the authority to judge anyone).
None of us has ever seen a motive. Therefore, we don't know, we can't do anything more than suspect what inspires the action of another. For this good and valid reason, we're told not to judge. "If you want to avoid judgment, stop passing judgment" (Matthew 7:1). But if we're reckless enough to judge another, we do well to remember the injunction that "your verdict on others will be the verdict passed on you. The measure with which you measure will be used to measure you" (Matthew 7:2-3).
How is your judgment? Do you see clearly?
Just something to throw out there to you all.
I love each of you! Keep seeking Jesus!

| Well, school has started!! I hope everyone had an awesome first full day at school. Remember, Jesus is with you everywhere you go. Be a reflection of Him in all situations and circumstances.
Don't forget to invite someone to church tomorrow night. Let's kick off this year really big tomorrow night. I love each of you and know that I am praying for you!!

| Hey, just want every one of you to know that I do love you and care about how you feel. I know that I shocked you all last Wednesday night, and I am sorry how I came across. Please forgive me for being so "in your face." After taking everything in and listening to you all week long, I have come to several conclusions.
1. I know that change is hard for you. I understand change. It sucks, but it must be done.
2. It sounds like you are willing for change to take place, but you want to be apart of the process. We can work with that.
3. You guys are really growing in your relationship with Jesus. It's never easy to follow Jesus; there is nothing pleasurable about obedience at the time.
Next Wednesday we will all come together and talk about our name, purpose and logo again, this time I will be more gentle.
I love you!! | | |
